Welcome to our website. On these pages you will see what a wonderful place it is to visit, with lots to discover. Orton Grange, a 360 acre dairy farm, is about four miles from Carlisle on the A595 towards Wigton and West Cumbria. But over the last few years we've converted some redundant sandstone farm buildings to create what you can see today.

The café is at the heart of the complex. Downstairs is a conventional café, while upstairs we have comfy sofas where you can relax over your coffee or lunch. We also have a grand piano to add to the relaxed feel. We even make our own ice cream. But before you get to the café, you walk into our redesigned shop, which has a fabulous range of cards, gifts, clothes and jewellery. In an exciting development we've teamed up with Jane Coulthard of Jiggery Pokery. You can get a glimpse of our new shop by clicking on the Cards, Clothes and Gifts button above.

Upstairs, you'll find Quiltessentials for all your quilting supplies and where you can also learn about quilt-making. And there's Ally's Shearing Shed, a hair salon run by one of the best hair stylists in the area.

We have The Loft beauty salon, run by the Cumberland News Young Entrepreneur Sarah Simpson. And there's a swimming pool which you can hire by the hour. If you're looking for somewhere to hold a business meeting, we can help you. We have a well-equipped meeting room and we can provide refreshments to suit your needs.
