Santa Welcome to Christmas at Orton Grange! This is the the website of Orton Grange Café, Farm Shop, Farm Trail, Ice Cream and Swimming Pool, and also of Quiltessentials and Ally's Shearing Shed.

Orton Grange, a 360 acre dairy farm, is about four miles from Carlisle on the A595 towards Wigton and West Cumbria.

As well as our farm we have a cafe, a farm shop with local produce and gifts, a farm trail, a swimming pool and our own ice-cream.
We began with a farm shop and small cafe. But a year ago we opened our new cafe, which is on two floors. Downstairs is a conventional cafe, while upstairs we have comfy sofas where you can relax over your coffee or lunch. We also have a grand piano to add to the relaxed feel.

Cows on a summer's evening Outside, there's a farm trail from which you'll not only see our animals, but also the wonderful vistas of the Lake District fells. Back inside, we have a swimming pool which can be hired by the hour. Upstairs, you'll find Quiltessentials for all your quilting supplies and also where  you can learn about quilt-making. There's also Ally's Shearing Shed, a hair salon run by one of the best hair stylists in the area.
