 Quintessentials is a specialist shop for patchwork and quilting enthusiasts, located upstairs at Orton Grange. As you walk up the staircase and through the door, you're bombarded by a wonderful  kaleidoscope of colours.

Here you will find an exciting range of fabrics, waddings, threads, boards, cutters, rulers, ribbons, patterns and books for every level - from beginners to advanced. 		Working on a quilt

Quintessentials stocks Moda, Makower, Hoffman, Kaffe, Fassett, Nancy Holverson, Timeless Treasures, Stof and batiks, Creative Grids, Olfa and much, much more. And they're all at extremely competitive prices. We also have a good selection of wide quilt backings, printed panels, advent calendars, and a huge range of Christmas fabrics, so if you want to make something for Christmas you need to get started!

We even held  an exhibition, called Quilter's Kaleidoscope, at Tullie House in Carlisle and we were pleased that so many came along to see the work.
